Mikao Usui (1865-1926), after meditating and fasting for 21 days on Mount Kurama, attained enlightenment and realized that he had been given the ability to heal.
Usui named his healing method Usui Reiki Ryoho (therapy), and he worked several years to develop and perfect this system of healing.
How it works:
Reiki energy flows through Reiki facilitator's hands to the recipient. The facilitator can work hands-off above the body or with permission place hands lightly on the recipient's body.
Energy channels become attuned and aligned, improving health and enhancing quality of life.
Reiki treatment allows one to tap into the unlimited universal life-force energy to heal energy channels.
